| Description: |
| Célia Mello was born in São Paulo, Brazil, has got her graduation in
Marine Biology in 1987 at the Faculdade Maria Thereza in Niterói, RJ. She
has got a Master degree in Photography in 2001 at São Paulo University,
Communication and Arts School (ECA). She has been working as a Professor of Photography and Image Analysis I and II at Communication School.
Célia Mello has contributed to "Travel In" a tourism magazine with the article
"A Guiana a la French" nº.31/1995 and has assisted the Photographer
Gal Oppido in 1990/1991.
Participation in the I International Bi-annual of Photography in Curitiba City in 1996, "EUSENCONTROSEUSENCONTROS" Serie I at Aliança Fracesa in 1994. She has got several of her works at Itaú Cultural Image Bank. In 2006, it was opened the exposition "EUSENCONTROSEUSENCONTROS" Serie III at Antonio Carlos D'Ávila Room in Journalism Department of the Communication and Arts School at São Paulo University. In May, 2006 Celia has exhibited the "Serie IV of the same exposition
at Preterito Perfeito Gallery.Both series were developed in 2006, in back-and-white and in color. Currently she lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil
