Mark has been making photographs since he was eight years old. He began showing his work and winning awards while attending Columbus State University where he received a B.A. in Art in 1974. He scans the transparencies with a Epson scanner into a digital environment, and prints them using ink jet printers. The experience of forty-seven years of creating images gives Mark a strong background for his vision, and helped him assemble a significant body of work. He continues to produce new work, expanding his vision of how he sees the world, and successfully translating that vision into a graphic element. This expertise assists him in isolating pieces of reality and transforming them into images that feed the spirit of the viewer.
