United Creators is proud to announce its second online competition to discover, recognize and honor excellence in the global visual arts
United Creators will aggressively market and promote this endeavor that will place the winning entrants in high public visibility. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to showcase their artwork in a global arts platform and have it be reviewed by a panel of notable judges --- international professionals and visionaries from the arts and business sectors.
OUR PAST CONTEST AND WINNERS
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all global artists working in applied media such as: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking and digital art. The competition is not open to film/video, crafts or any artworks created for any commercial application or assignment ( i.e. advertising, print editorial, packaging, commercial illustration, etc.).
All entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Proof of age and identity must be furnished upon request. All entrants must submit a biography and/or artist's statement for review.
Entries may be submitted by any business involved in representing an artist(s) and their works, granted proper permissions are obtained and individual copyrights are observed. All entries must be final and completed versions of artwork, not works in progress.
PANEL OF JUDGES
Entries will be judged by a panel of notable international arts professionals. Judging will be based on the merits of the body of artwork. Non-English entries must be translated into English to assure proper judging. Entries will be judged independently, and winners will be determined based upon the merits of the pieces. Winning entries are calculated based on the combined scores of the judges who will evaluate each entry.

*THIRD place winner : Award of $400. A published interview in United Creators' digital magazine, UConmag.com . Global press release dissemination. Free and permanent UnitedCreators.com membership.
after the deadline will NOT be accepted even if you have participated in this contest. The fee is non- refundable.
*FOURTH and FIFTH place winners. Two honorable mention winners. Global press release dissemination. Free and permanent UnitedCreators.com membership.
*SPECIAL UC AWARD for an outstanding talent chosen by United Creators. Cash award $500. Global press release dissemination. Free and permanent UnitedCreators.com membership.
WINNING ENTRIES
After judging is completed, winners will be notified via call or e-mail in by first week of Dec, 2007. At that time, proper credits, proof of rights clearances and any additional requests will be made. United Creators will not publish in print or online any winning entries without adequate proof that all necessary rights to do so have been obtained along with a signed copy of these Official Rules and the Authorization and Release documentation. All winners will receive their awards during the month of Dec, 2007.
Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with any prizes.
ENTRY FEE
$24 USD for all artists with unlimited image postings online at UnitedCreators.com. Judging will be based on the merits of the body of artwork that an artist uploads into his/her UnitedCreators.com profile and their biography/artist statement.

We accept payments via credit cards online ONLY ( by clicking the "participate " button at the end of this page – or by Paypal to info@unitedcreators.com. United Creators uses the most advanced 128 bytes encryption technology to ensure safe and secure transactions online.
A special note: PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES ( with the specific sizes required) After you register. There will be no reminders from unitedcreators.com to upload your images.
HOW TO ENTER
* After your submission fee ( through the "participate" button below this page), All artworks can be submitted online by registering through either the "Creators level" , a FREE link provided with an email after your submission fee OR through the "Basic level" ( free membership).
* The "Creators level" link entitles you to a FREE Creators level membership till the end of the competition. We do advice you to take advantage of Creators level membership which entitles you to many online self-marketing tools.
* All entrants must post at least 10 pieces of artwork to be reviewed and judged.
*Entrants can post an unlimited number of artwork images.
IMAGE PRESENTATION
Images MUST be: *File format: JPG or GIF. Thumbnail Size: 60 pixels x 60 pixels. Picture size: Max 500 pixel width if horizontal OR Max 340 pixel height if vertical. Once fully registered as contestants (and as members of the UnitedCreators.com community), artists can take advantage of its online portfolio services and communication and business management tools to further advance their arts careers globally.
