What is United Creators?
United Creators is an online community commited to providing to its members exclusive services and instruments to communicate, and interact with each other more efficiently.
The community also allows its Artist members to showcase their artworks and its Art Patron members to share their expertise and services.
The organization intends to develop the community and adapt its services to meet today's increasingly competitive and global Art Industry.
United Creators is founded on the principles of exclusivity, ethics and maintaining the highest standards of creativity and professionalism.

What is an Art Patron?
The term "Art Patron" combines individuals and organizations that either:
- Present Art expertise (curators, educators and other authorities).
- Offer art-related services and/or require artwork for their activity.

Why should I subscribe to United Creators?

Can Art be sold and purchased on UnitedCreators.com?
United Creators has pre-built an ecommerce structure but is still in the process of determining our members' needs as well as organizing the transaction procedures.

Does UnitedCreators Charge a commision from the sales made on UnitedCreators website? 
You earn 100% of your sales! UnitedCreators does not charge a sales commission from the Website. However we do charge  %40 commision  for artwork sales in our offline exhibitons, or print materials that are directly presented to our collector contacts.   

How can I be found on United Creators?
Subscribing Artists and Art Patrons can easily be found in United Creators through its user-friendly search engine and through United Creators’ marketing efforts.

How does United Creators market the Community?
United Creators markets itself and its members through Google advertising, e-mail newsletters, print advertising, partnerships with notable arts organizations and special organized exhibitions and events.

Are there any United Creators events that happen offline?
Yes, and as United Creators further develops, it will organize more member-based art events, exhibitions and networking events both domestically and internationally.

I am not a trained Artist or recognized Art Expert.
Can I still subscribe to UnitedCreators.com?

Sure, however United Creators does screen all submissions and reserves the right to approve or disapprove content. United Creators maintains that all subscribing Artists and Art Patrons must be: serious-minded, professional in conduct and of excellent artistic caliber. However, we makes few exceptions for amateurs but only based on merit, talent and a strong desire to further an artistic career.

Are there any restrictions on what can be posted on United Creators?
United Creators reserves the right to remove any artwork that it may find offensive and inappropriate: politically, culturally and religiously insensitive artworks or those containing explicitly strong pornographic sexual content.

Is UnitedCreators.com an international platform?
Based in New York City, United Creators has satellite branches in London, Milan, Frankfurt and Istanbul.

Is UnitedCreators.com open to partnerships?

United Creators welcomes partnerships and affiliations with individuals, companies, organizations and institutions who wish to help advance emerging and established Artists. How can I help United Creators to advance its mission?
United Creators welcomes sponsorships and participation for future special organized events and exhibitions. We are also a global grass roots community so we encourage you to tell other Artists and Art Patrons about us.

What is the billing process for a UnitedCreators.com subscription?

United Creators charges your credit card using Authorize.net.

What are the payment options for a subscription?
We accept only Credit Card payments on a monthly/ every 6 months/ yearly basis at this stage but we may accept other payment methods in the future.

For any question regarding your personal account please use our contact pages and use "subscription" in the subject of your email.

How do I upgrade or cancel my subscription?
To upgrade or cancel your subscription, simply access your account and use of the options "cancel my subscription" or "upgrade my subscription".

TECHNICAL FAQ:

Can I use the search tool even though I’m not a subscriber?

All users can freely search United Creators. However, you have to subscribe to contact and interact with an Artist or Art Patron.

How do I prepare my images for uploading into UnitedCreators.com?
In order to upload images as well as the thumbnails used in your gallery your need to follow the specifications that are showing in the "my gallery" page of your account.
In order to resize, change the light, contrast or colors of your images you need to use a third party application for picture editing. We recommend "Adobe Photoshop" for that purpose but however, you can also find or purchase more software online by typing "picture editing software" in Google.

What is an avatar?
An avatar is a small size picture that is used in your account to present your gallery and information in search results and featured areas of the site. You can decide to use a personal picture or an art picture to present as an avatar.

How do I manage the avatar in my account?
You can upload and edit your avatar in your account under the "my gallery" area. Click on the button "my avatar".

How many images can I post in my online portfolio?
The number of images you can post is unlimited, within the required format .

How secure is UnitedCreators.com?
UnitedCreators.com uses the most advanced 128bytes encryption technology available today. The system is produced and managed by Verisign, the leader in encryption and online data protection. All your personal information is processed using this encryption system.

What is a lightbox?
A LightBox is a tool that allows you to store and organize your "favorite members". To add a member to your lightbox, simply access his/her gallery and click on the "add to lightbox" button.

What is UC's Rating System and how does it work?
UC's rating system is a database-driven application that allows members to rate each other using a comment form and a rating scale that goes from 1 to 10. All rating and comments are accessible by the rated member ONLY. No other members can see what your rating is. It is a very valuable tool to use to get constructive feedback from the rest of the community.

How do I become a featured Artist or Art Patron?

UC's Rating System allows our Webmaster to choose the featured Artist or Art Patron based on their gallery, bio and personal rating.

What is the difference between a public and a private message?
All public messages are sent to UC's Message Board and are accessible by the entire community. Private messages are sent from one user to another. You simply need the other user's username in order to send a message from your account.

How often can I post a public message?
You can post as many public messages as you like, provided that the content of the message presents an interesting topic for the community. Obviously the message board is monitored and your messages are subject to immediate cancellation in the event your message appears as an infringement of our Terms of Use.

Are my public messages monitored and controlled?

Yes, we use a filter that replaces any words or phrases that are objectionable. Messages that United Creators deems inappropriate (politically, culturally, sexually, etc.) will be immediately removed.

Is the calendar in my personal account managed by United Creators or me?
The Calendar in your personal account combined UC's events and your personal events. This way you can use your agenda and constantly be in touch with the community events and yourself at the same time!

What happens to my completed task?
Your completed tasks are accessible under the "My Tasks" area on the right side under the label "completed tasks"

United Creators reserves the right to remove any artwork that it may find offensive and inappropriate: politically, culturally and religiously insensitive artworks or those containing explicitly strong pornographic sexual content.  Posting of external links (personal e-mail addresses and URL's) is also strictly forbidden since United Creators wishes to facilitate all member communication and online interaction within the website.  Members can agree to interact or meet offline at their discretion.
