| For me my artwork is a visual tool to speak the words that cannot be spoken. Through creating metaphorical structures, figures and motion, I am able to stage the emotion of stories. These are stories of myself, stories of God’s love, humanity and mankind’s struggles. Somehow, I spent more time to look at my paintings than I actually paint them. I listen to them and eventually we come to mutual understanding, then the paintings evolved. That is the joy to be a painter. |
