I am a photographer based in Shannon (Co. Clare, Ireland) and specialising in landscapes, seascapes and abstract photographs. I was born in Czechoslovakia to a family of mix nationalities, my mother being Hungarian and my father of Italian descent. Photography is the media in which I could find a highly creative outlet that suit me. I learned lots from biographies of Verdi and Puccini. Both books taught me that all my "artwork" should express my inner feelings and not cater to what other people wanted to see! Sometimes, however you need to satisfy your customers desires. Sunsets and sunrises are my favourite photographic topics. My abstract pictures are based on the details of the nature and try to put some feelings into them. With added effects I try to do not destroy the basic image, the nature. I am trying to go for simplicity in my pictures to show the nature / objects in simple way and with light effects. Big influence is Slovakia. The countryside of this small but beautiful country taught me how to look and what to see. The colourful forests and plains in spring / autumn time and the mountains in summer / winter showed me all the beauty of the nature. Classical music is my inspiration while I am editing my photos. I would like to achieve with my pictures few things: - to help people more relax in our very fast and stressed life, - also help to find time and look my photos and realise that lot of nice stuff are around us, in the nature and we should not destroy it. I would not like to see that our next generation could see the beauty of our world only from pictures.
